We started the weekend with this gorgeous Denver courthouse elopement for these adventurous love birds! They were in town for the Billy Strings shows at Ball Arena and figured it was the perfect time to elope at the courthouse. Sarah and Mark started looking for photographers in Denver when they found my website. We eventually made the connection that I grew up in the same area they are from! There’s so many sweet moments that come with capturing weddings and elopements. Life always seems to bring people in my path that I can connect with at on a deeper level – whether it’s being from the same town in southeast Georgia, having a passion for the same band, or finding joy in traveling all over the country.
Sarah and Mark decided to elope at the Byron White Courthouse in Downtown Denver. This was my first time shooting there and it was so gorgeous with the snow on the ground! I moved here from Atlanta four years ago. I’m still in love with how Denver feels like a small town in a city while having the ability to run into the mountains every weekend. This is a more modern elopement than I’ve done over the past few years and it was so sweet to have a little change. I hope y’all enjoy this Denver courthouse elopement! If you’re interested in eloping in Colorado, reach out to me and I’d love to talk more about locations 🙂
Once we finished their newly wed portraits, we headed over to Woods Boss Brewing for a celebratory drink while they signed their marriage certificate! One of my favorite things to do is end an elopement or session with a drink – whether it’s beer, wine, or coffee – it adds some more sweetness to the gallery 🙂
