Red Rocks Park Proposal
I met Maranda and Jessani a year ago at a red rocks concert in Morrison! A few months ago, M reached out to me about the proposal they were planning for Jessani. I was just so excited they trusted me with such a special day since we were just starting to get to know each other! M planned everything out with a couple surprises along the way 🙂
Jessani thought we were doing just a normal couple session for their one year anniversary. Until she turned around and saw M down on their knee surrounded by the beauty of Red Rocks Park. Little did we know, Jessani pulled an uno reverse card and proposed right back!! They are both just full of laughter and joy. It was so amazing to capture.
They had such a sweet few moments together giggling and trying to contain their excitement! Whenever I capture proposals, I always give them however long they need to be in the moment. There’s so many emotions and adrenaline. I highly recommend staying in the moment with your couple while capturing if you are new to photography!
We continued to take some portraits exploring around all the rocks in this shaded area we found. Until, the next surprise came along… JESSANI’S MOM!! She came around the corner all bundled up in a hood and glasses. Jessani ran into her arms 🙂
Such a good surprise and everything went perfectly!!! SO happy for these two and can’t wait to see what they plan for their wedding/elopement in the future. Enjoy these sweet photos we captured <3
