Michael and Amanda welcomed a new puppy to the family last fall!

Introducing Breck Garcia 🙂

I had the pleasure of taking Michael and Amanda’s engagement photos a couple years ago! My husband and I have been friends with them since college and I’m so happy we get to live so close to them now in Denver. We took photos at Sloans Lake in Edgewater in December.

Sloans Lake is such a beautiful spot. If you haven’t visited it in Denver, I highly recommend walking around the lake, and grabbing some food or drinks. Our favorites are Joyride Brewing and US Thai Cafe!

They drove to Utah to pick up Breck and bring her back to her forever home. After a trip to meet her grandparents over Thanksgiving, we booked a session to remember that puppy stage! They stay little and floppy for such a short amount of time, they’ll be able to treasure these photos forever. Breck was such a good girl as we walked around the lake. Chris and I live just around the corner, so we picked a couple spots to visit before hand. Got some sunny pics with the mountains in the background, then went to the shade for a few more.

I love being able to capture these moments!! Getting photos of your pets at this stage is so worth it. I wish I had some of my cats when we adopted them. Adding your pets to ANY photo session, is 100% worth it.
