Let’s talk about boudoir photography today! It’s one of my favorite types of photography. Over Valentines Day, I offered mini sessions and we had so much fun! I had a few friends I’m close with who were interested, but all had one recurring statement…. “I don’t have anyone to give them to!”

If you feel the same way… like you need a significant other to take boudoir images, we need to change that thought process. I totally understand how special it is to be able to give photos like this to someone, but that’s not the only reason or even the best reason.

Boudoir photography is about you. It’s about wearing what you want to wear, feeling beautiful in the way that makes you feel confident, and being yourself. Often in our society, we dress for how we think others find attractive. I encourage you to tell yourself next time you have thought like “well why would i do that, i don’t even have someone”. You do have someone…. you have yourself. Love yourself, take care of yourself, and feed your soul with confidence and the happiness you deserve <3
