Jon & Cassidy

Hey friends! I had the pleasure of taking Jon & Cassidy’s engagement portraits last spring at Callaway Gardens where they will be getting married this November. We had such a good time walking around the gardens, which made us even more excited for their wedding this fall! This wedding will be super special for me to capture because Cassidy is like family to me. I have had the pleasure to get to know Jon and their relationship, so their photos will reflect everything I know is important to them.

Callaway Gardens Engagement Session

As I practice to become a better photographer, that means knowing what is most important to my subject, and capturing that for each person I get to work with. Before each engagement session, I like to ask couples what type of couple portraits feel more like them. If you’re about to have portraits made with your significant other, this is a great topic for you to talk about. Do you enjoy more emotional and moody portraits? Do you enjoy more silly and happy portraits? Are you more reserved and enjoy the classy look? Are you and your love okay with getting close and personal in front of a camera? Edgy or traditional?
