Photojournalism is the main aspect of my photography that stays consistent no matter what type of session it is. This is what keeps me grounded in knowing my purpose in life. Story telling through images and writing is something I've been passionate about ever since I studied photography in college. No matter if it's connecting with nature's beauty or connecting with the people around me, I truly care about telling their story. It's easy to wake up and see all the bad surrounding us, but sharing the joy, love, and light can change your perspective on how you feel every day. Take a look through my blog entries to see how you feel through my art of storytelling.

From the lights glowing on the Eiffel Tower to the gondolas on the Grand Canal, I will be showing you everywhere we went in our short amount of time in Paris and Venice. I arrived later than my family in Paris, but I was able to capture the beautiful Eiffel tower during the day and night. On our first day, we walked to the Eiffel Tower for photos before sunset, then walked down to the water to catch a night cruise around Paris. The Eiffel Tower at night is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. On our second day, we went to Normady with a tour guide. It was very emotional and surreal to hear the stories of the young men, see the beaches, and the cemetery. I didn’t take many photographs because of that. The place we grabbed dinner that night was beautiful. One day, when I have all the money in the world (HA) I would love to have one room inspired from this restaurant in Paris.
After Paris, we all split up for a few days, then met in Venice for Alexandra and Alex’s beautiful wedding. The majority of the time we were doing wedding things. Unfortunately, I didn’t take my camera to their gorgeous Venice wedding, but if you are a photographer you understand my reason. I got amazing photos at the rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding though! The rehearsal dinner was on the terrace looking over the water and the Santa Maria della Salute. It was a beautiful night for a lovely occasion. The next day, my family and I took a gondola through the Grand Canal before heading back to get ready for the wedding.
Thank you so much for reading my blog! We had a wonderful time in Paris and Venice all together as family. We had a great time hanging out with friends in Venice and celebrating Alexandra and Alex! Here’s a sneak peak of my family all dressed up at the reception.
Tune in tomorrow night for my blog about Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany! I promise you will get a lot of laughs out of this one!
